I work, in a solution-oriented way, with people who want to develop effective coping skills that promote a balanced life. A primary goal is the development of a reciprocal and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

In general, our communications during psychotherapy are confidential and may not be revealed to anyone without your specific written authorization. There are certain exceptions to this privacy right, including the following:

We discuss the privacy of our communications at our first meeting so that you understand this important aspect of our relationship. It is important you understand our relationship is a voluntary one that you may discontinue at any time.

Some of the challenges that bring people to work with me include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, grief, trauma, relational conflict, medical illness, and employment concerns. I have a specific interest in and experience working with people experiencing depression and bipolar disorders.

My approach relies on a variety of well-established therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness.

I strive to create a safe and respectful environment where you will be comfortable expressing your concerns. Mindfulness and attention to your unique circumstances are the foundation of my work.
